Upon calling the front desk to resolve this matter, I was told by Jacqueline (front desk attendant) and Felinda (front desk supervisor) that the only available option was to move my room and that they were not aware of the construction taking place when the room was rented for the night.
The construction consisted of loud banging, scrapping, it sounded like a carpet installation in a wood frame building. We woke up at 6am for the second day in a row to the most disruptive part of the trip, the intense construction. Unfortunately, the bliss was short lived. We stayed on the 41st floor and we had a great view facing the ocean. Incredibly disappointing experience, we stayed during the week to try to get a couple of days away.
